My Review

There are some authors you just have to read, Anna Bloom is one of mine. I just love her writing and characters. Her characters are real, and flawed, and draw you in along with the storylines.

Some Kind of Love is a second-chance romance. It has lots of feels in it ❤️.

The story fluctuates from the present to throwbacks to Amber at 18 and Freddy at 20, and it took me right back to falling in love, yep teenage love vibes.

I loved the teenage love, but the grown-up passion and pull of Freddy and Amber was even better.

Life has ups and downs and issues that need dealing with like a husband you've separated from and don't love, an uprooted son, and a parent with dementia.

I was rooting for these two, Freddy was so caring, patient, and sexy, with a touch of bad boy. Basically a dreamboat of a book boyfriend.

The ending of the book was perfect, then there was an epilogue and the ending of that made my heart swell and smile too!

My Review

Some books can be demolished in one sitting, but some need to be cherished and have time taken to absorb the love, this is one of them. Roth and Laurel have such an easy love, they are Ying and Yang and perfect together. Laurel is a quirky lady introduced to Roth by a friend, a friend you'd be thankful to forever. Roth made me swoon many times. This book destroyed me, I sobbed.... It's beyond heartbreaking but amidst all the pain there is love, devotion, and adventure and it's beautiful. To be honest I was doing well just the odd tear and glassy-eyed in parts but then a couple of simple lines threw me over the waterfall. Then I pulled myself together and continued Roth and Laurels time stamped journey, only to hear 'I want to see my mother'.... Floodgates opened again. To be honest they didn't stop for a while.... This book has stayed with me for days, reading it felt like I was watching a film, omg god this would make an amazing film. This book is beautiful, painful, heartbreaking, raw, real, and makes you realise what's important. If you like a deep and moving story, I highly recommend it to you. Looking for a Book Hangover? Look no further pick up The Last Kiss. I couldn't move on to a new book so re-read this!

A beautiful, emotional, and tragic love story.

My heart is in recovery after reading this book. It broke me, made me smile, and was definitely heartwarming.

Jules is amazing and so strong, I also loved Liv the sister and the whirlwind of a niece that reminded me of my daughter. Henri, oui the man of the book, swoon-worthy yes, sexy, business owner, the list could go on!

The chemistry between Henri and Jules is literally bouncing off the pages, I was totally pulled in, lapping up every moment they shared

There were many times I had to dry my eyes before continuing, but I loved this heartbreaking romance.

This is a book that will take you on a fulfilling emotional journey.

Slow burn PNR romance 💜

This read has it all, a romance that holds your attention, danger and angst. The characters, well you have a strong female with issues, a nasty baddie dragon, and then the fourth commander! 

Emelia is strong but has issues getting close to men since being held by the baddie dragon.

The baddie, his horrid and that's hard to say as I love a dragon, the was a brief moment I thought maybe he was redeemable but that was a brief moment.

The fourth commander, well what can I say his a strong angel, determined, caring and considerate along with being smoulderingly sexy.

I have enjoyed all the stories in this series, but this book has taken me back the depth of the characters/journey from the books from the beginning of this series. 

A great read.

My Review

Where to start with reviewing this book, the final in Eli and Faith's story....

Emotion, romance, strength, pain, love, happiness and tears all appear in this book in no particular order ;)

I loved this book, I stayed up till 130am to finish the book, my eyes were tired, heavy eyes were then complicated by tears welling up and running down my cheeks but I got to end and then didn't want it to be the end!

I'm not gonna go through the storyline as you will already know the story as you have to read book 1 and 2 first. If you haven't started this series yet I would suggest you dive in. I admit in book 1 it took me a while to take to Faith, Eli Woo'ed me straight away! Their story is one you don't want to miss.

MY REVIEW

I love this PNR series and this episode will keep you hooked and desperate for more.

Winn and Cord met along time ago, Cord knew she was his mate but did not claim her at the time, this time when she appears he has no intention of letting her go!

Winn is only half shifter, her other side is Mage and she is powerful. Cord is the alpha of the cougar clan, he does a good job keeping things in order, he's a softy underneath his fur and his daughters have him wrapped around their fingers.

Someone is after Winn and everyone wants to step up and protect her, Cord wins the job which gives him and his mate a chance to connect in all ways possible. The two have a lot of catching up to do and take advantage of every opportunity to be intimate. They have a relationship to build and he has to learn his woman is challenging - as every woman should be.

This is in a way a two story book as Vexx is a very strong characther in this book and its fair to say I loved her - her looks are deceiving and she has some powers which she puts to what she thinks is a good cause. We have got to know Jace in previous books and in this book he has a love interest.

I like getting deep into the moon virus series world, it's full of shifters, nymphs, and vampires of all type. This book has a lot going on, but the story unfolds in a controlled way and is all interlinked. This story is mainly based around shifters but don't worry the vamps are involved too, it has a great mix of romance, angst and danger.

I got excited when I read the author notes as she has a few more books planned already - yippee, can't wait.
