There's a great selection of stories in this anthology and introduce you to authors you may not have read before. It took me forever to read the whole book, it's the first time I've ever read a whole anthology, but I enjoyed it. It's great value at 99p
Overall with the whole book I'd say 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 as it's such a great buy!

Close Liaisons
A rich alpha male and a virgin college student..... Except the alpha is an alien......yes there are similarities to another series but if you read the whole book there's more to this story than the similarities.
When a tall handsome man sets his sights on you and won't leave you be, some may call it stalking but Kornan seems to think his wooing Mia, he is an alien so he gets some leeway.
Mia is a little too naive , she's a virgin and says yes a little to easily, not only to Kornan, but the resistance as well. I have to admit I wanted her to stand up for herself more and not put up with all of the human put downs, and his comments about her clothes, well he'd have blue balls!
Kornan, his above humans, his arrogant, controlling, secretive, a great cook, caring and super hot in the bedroom - they spend a lot of time in the bedroom, it is an erotic book.
I loved the world building and I loved to dislike Kornan, but there was part of him I liked too.... I'm interested to see where they go in the relationship and if some of his controlling was down to what was going on in this storyline, I'm one of those that always want to fall for the leading man, so I'll be reading book 2.

The Time Stopper
This is an interesting introduction to a characther.
Mira is Russian and can split time, just like her dad and brother, unfortunately, she can't change anything while time is frozen, but can read people's memories, which is a useful skill.
In this novella, we learn about Mira and her family and what she plans to do, in this book she partially completes her task.
It does feel like an introduction to a story, not a whole book.
I was interested in Victor and wonder if he features in other books?
I liked Mira and will look up other books in this series.

Adam and Nikki are heading off on honeymoon, they can't keep their hands or eyes off each other. Nikki has to gain some control of her emotions and get on with her undercover job.
It appears both Adam and Nikki have kept secret.
There's a good balance of loving couple smooching and danger and angst.
Nikki isn't a woman that needs protection, she knows how to kick ass, but it just happens that Adam is a tad stronger and faster than her and has some built in weapons!
Adam, he smolders around Nikki, he can't help but want her a lot of the time, he also can't help protecting her even if she does state she can cope.
It was fun having a character from previous books appear in this book, it's one I was fond of!
A great addition to the Alpha Division series.

I loved this story, bear shifters are great to read about. The world building was perfect and made me want to visit the den! The story held your interest and warmed you inside.
This was my first read from this author and I know I want to read next book in series and explore her other books.

This is an a vampire book and the start is quite dark. The characthers are great and the story intriguing. Why do authors always she me like the baddie! I need book two like now!

This is as fun read, my first gorilla shifter read. Zane was very manly and protective of his mate Adrianna. It's obviously animal magic instant love, but it's cute.

Captives kiss by Sharon kay
Tanner is a watcher, he goes off to visit hades nightclub I. The 'heat season' while there he meets saige and they get jiggy. They do t expect to see each other again but while on a mission tanner runs into saige and how curiosity is peeked, his determined to find out why she's so elusive.
I love lash demons they're so macho and tanner is no different, they're also quite the gentleman until the lady gives the go ahead then they're all man!
This is a short read but makes me want more lash demons now.
