Synopsis

ARC REVIEW
Protective, arrogant and sexy are words to describe Kane the leading man in this story, and if I'm honest I wasn't sure I liked him at first but he definitely grew on me.
Layton is our leading lady, some might call her meek or shy in certain situations but she is one strong, hardworking lady. She may not have the perfect profession but she keeps her head above water.
Kane it's fair to say barges into her life, not that she asked, he just decided to help fix her apartment, even if he covers it with so his air con will work! Once through the door their life's become more tangled together.
There are some dark themes in this book, some will upset you, even more so if you have triggers, there were quite a few moments the story made my eyes cloud with tears.
This is a good read, full of emotion and devotion through the ups and downs on both sides.
