Blurb

As their allies grow and their circle of friends discovers true love, their enemies advance.

Shadows watch, waiting in the distance as an age old power threatens to reveal the secrets of a past steeped in sorrow.

War is upon them and with its advance comes a force of unity bound by love and sealed by blood.

Together, Malachi and Laziel fight to protect those they hold close.

When Rome trembles and the bowels of Hell spew forth its spawn, the wolves and the rogue Nephilim join forces with Malachi Denali and his vampires to fight against evil and tip the scales in favor of the just.

Fractions divide, lives lay in ruin. Is the call of the wild their only hope of survival?

Or will Rome finally fall under the weight of an angel’s untold grief?

MY REVIEW

This was another epic installment of this paranormal tale with Angels, vampires, shifters, fae and even humans. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’œ

At the centre of the story is the fabulous Malachi and Laziel. This is a long book but not a dull moment was found. I love this series and in a way it's like a soap opera with stories developing around the romance and sexiness of our main characthers. All the stories tie in and come together. I loved the shifters and how passionate they all were and how intertwined they are together.

I know our vamp and angel are still the main characthers and they were in this book loads but I would have liked even more of them - is there ever enough of them together?!

Heres some snippets I highlighted

“You do not ever kneel before me, angel mine. You stand at my side where you belong.”
***********
Malachi pulled back allowing everything he felt for the angel to shine in his crimson gaze.
***********
“Come a little closer; I won’t bite. Much.”
***********
Laziel latched on and held tight. Beneath him, Lachi threw back his head and roared, bearing fangs that dripped with blood.
***********
As much as it pained them both, Tobias couldn’t rebuke the call of his alpha. Yet, the agony of leaving his mate behind filled him with a sense of loss that would stay with him until the Fates found a way to bring them back together.
This series has some amazing personalities, I really like Rhys and so many of the others too.

This book features mainly M-M couplings, there is one M-F in the story, it not that there aren't any M-F in this world it's just the authors focus on the Men getting it on :) So this book is not for people looking for M-F romance! Also, it's imperative you read book 1 and 2 first.

A fabulous read once again and all I can ask is - ladies when is next installment?

4.5 stars
