My Review
Isiah has featured in most of the books so far so to get his book is exciting. He's a geek, works on computers and in security, his still a vamp and a sexy one too, even if he hides it behind his laptop.
These are vamps with a difference, they don't drink blood anymore, they drink energy.
Phoenix is on the run from the hunters, she has stayed too long in one area and put others in danger - she likes her job in the coffee shop and especially likes the man that is frequenting the place a lot lately.
Isiah is fascinated by the gorgeous barrister in the cafe, it is also a great place to scope out his latest job.
These two smoulder together when they get there act together, there are lots of interesting turns that make this a page turner.
The vampire mansion is as busy as ever with brothers and cousins popping in and staying over, luckily it's big enough to find some time to be alone.
Phoenix is a perfect fit for Isiah other than being a vampire hunter! She has a sense of humour, exudes sex appeal around Isiah and finds her vampire irresistible, without any compulsion!. There are some very steamy scenes throughout this book.
This book is about Isiah and Phoenix but family members feature a lot in this book too. I really enjoyed Drew in this book, his so entertaining I can't wait to read his book.
I admit I adore this series, I know you can read each book as standalone but I believe you get more out of the series if you've read the other books as you will know the other characthers and there are some strong personalities in the family.
A great read.
