BLURB

Charlotte Blake. Cut throat business woman and a powerhouse professional. Her interpersonal skills could use some work but her career comes first.

Everything she has, she has worked for.

Luke ‘Dex’ Dexter. Her adversary at work with the face of an angel and the charm of the devil. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he’s everything that Charlotte resents.

Everything he has, has been handed to him.

He’s a self-entitled arrogant playboy. She’s an uptight work-focused bore.

Two opposing colleagues forced together in small-town America through decisions beyond their control. Charlotte and Dex must find a way to make it work and close the deal a thousand miles from home.

Charlotte can’t remember how it feels to be young and carefree and Dex doesn’t know what it means to be an adult.

When the sworn enemies unwittingly find themselves becoming a finely tuned team, neither of them are prepared for the outcome.

MY REVIEW

This was a delightful read, I was totally absorbed, hubby came upstairs and said that must be a good book as you've not moved from bed.....

I love an opposites attract book, as you generally find they're not as opposite as you think. In this book we have two people that have misjudged one another, they are thrown together in a foreign country on a work project, what could go wrong? Or right!

I loved Dex he was 'real' warm and entertaining and a touch delicious but not perfect. Char is definitely not perfect, she's career minded, uptight, almost OCD in routines, watching her walls fall and seeing her blossom was great, I was pleased she never sacrificed her intelligence or work ethics, just had fun and saw the man behind the bravado.

"You're actually a good guy Luke Dexter." I said quietly.
"And you are not an unfeeling android but I won't tell anyone if you don't?" he smirked, bumping me lightly with his shoulder.
This book gave me the feels, I had a tear in my eye a time or two.
"It's not just sex Char, I love how sharp you are, how clever you are, how fucking good you are at your job... "
Luke goes on and it's really moving.

The relationship developing between Char and Luke is sweet and sexy, but we have some angst thrown in to make it interesting and let's face it real, life is full of stress and angst!

This isn't the first book I've read from this author, she writes very real characthers that you can connect with and this book is a great read.

4.5 opposites attract stars
